Dear Friends and Fellow Hams,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the ARRL Louisiana Section website. This site is dedicated to providing you with information about systems, activities and opportunities for service in ARRL and the Louisiana Section.
Whether you are a vistor interested in becoming a new ham, you just got your license, or a seasoned veteran operator, you will find something in these pages for you. Please browse the various tabs and links on the site and you will find a wealth of information. Our Webmaster, Ken Standard AD5XJ, continually updates the site when new activities or data becomes available. We even provide an RSS news feed of all activity and news on the site. Feel free to contact our WebMaster with suggestions and updates for the site.
The Section staff listed below or any Amateur Radio Club officer are ready to help you with questions about
becoming a licensed Amateur Radio Operator. If you are already licensed, and have technical questions, The
ARRL has appointed Technical Specialists listed on the Technical Help Page, who are committed to help you
with technical questions, and our staff can help with information about joining ARRL or a local club,
volunteering for any of the ARRL Field Organization appointments, license testing locations and schedules or
any other questions you may have. If we don't have an immediate answer we will steer you to the best
resource.
Again, thanks for viewing our website and 73!
